I’ll be performing at the amazing Fiske Planetarium on the University of Colorado campus in Boulder, August 7,8, and 15. This is a new theater, one of the few in the world to have the highest resolution fulldome digital video system. The projected video has an 8K pixel diameter, which means I’ll be running my system across about 25 computers to generate this amount of detail in real-time.
I have 3 shows scheduled as part of the Fiske Fulldome Festival. August 7 and 8 are the public shows. On August 15, I’ll be performing for the awards ceremony (which is not quite so public!)
Each show will be different. On August 7, I plan to perform a variety of pieces which has something for everybody. On August 8, I’m going to do a late-night “space out” ambient show. Slower, longer, contemplative electronic creations for those who want to “be in the zone!” Then, I’ll be performing on August 15 for the awards ceremony. I’m still working on what that program will contain… a world premiere, perhaps?
(Update: Information about the festival was here, but the site has changed.)
